My Story

Beginning at a young age, music and medicine have always been a passion for me. Flowing melody and lyrics provoke an emotional response, but music also has a healing effect. I knew practicing medicine was in my future, I just wasn’t certain in what form. It wasn’t until college that I discovered the art of Chinese medicine. I knew then, that Chinese medicine would be the best possible field for me.

Chinese medical theory combines music and medicine by employing both scientific understanding and lyrical art to form a truly holistic and powerful method of healing.

It was this extraordinary connection between music and medicine that led me to complete my Master’s of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. - one of the world’s leading academic centers in natural health sciences.

Pursuing further study in my field, I’ve had the opportunity of studying with Chinese medicine scholar, author and practitioner, Lonny Jarrett, M.S.A., L.Ac. His teachings offer an in depth examination of diagnostics and practical applications of Chinese medicine which cultivates a deeper awareness of the art of being a health care practitioner.

In practice, I use Traditional Chinese theories as well as 5 element theories to address imbalances in an individual. I look at each patient with an open mind, incorporating the wealth of information inherent in Chinese medicine. This provides a uniquely tailored assessment and plan of action for the expression of authentic health of each individual.
