Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist

Licensed Acupuncturist Rebecca Rice

I use acupuncture, herbs and associated modalities to address pain, stress, anxiety, depression, headaches, digestive disorders, and to support the cancer patient. My field of expertise is in the treatment and support of infertility and women's health including PMS, menopause, irregular menstruation, and painful menstruation.

I have learned that it is important to develop a wide perspective that not only supports and heals, but also encourages growth of an individual.  Health is a state of being, which when nutrtured, unlocks one's creativity. This way one can truly embrace change and deal with life's physical and emotional ups and downs.

One of the benefits of this type of profession, that is, holistic medicine, is that there is accessibility of care.  I value the amount of time I am available to commit to each patient. It leaves ample opportunity for understanding someone's health history and individual goals and challenges they are facing in their path to wellness.  Patients need to be given time so that the practitioner in charge of their treatment can vigilantly deliver a thorough  plan of care.

The teachers I have had in the past have shaped the way I practice today. I’ve had the opportunity to study with Randine Lewis, PhD, L.Ac and  Chinese medicine scholar, author and practitioner, Lonny Jarrett, M.S.A., L.Ac. whose teachings offer an in depth examination of diagnostics and practical applications of Chinese medicine which cultivates a deeper awareness of the art of being a health care practitioner.
