Holistic Medicine: How To Get Started
Maybe you've heard about holistic medicine, but you're not sure what it's all about. Or maybe you're tired of being treated as a symptom rather than a whole person with a life, mind, body and spirit. We're excited to welcome you what we hope will be a refreshing and life-enhancing experience.
Holistic medicine is simply exactly as it sounds – it is the practice of using the best of traditional medicine and complementary therapies to treat the whole person. It's easy to get started. You can choose to have a consultation with one of our holistic physicians who can design a personalized comprehensive wellness plan or you can choose to see an individual complementary practitioner, such as a massage therapist, Chinese herbalist or acupuncturist. You can also come to the Center for your primary care needs or choose a combination of services. It's up to you.
Making Your First Appointment: We're Here to Help
To help you decide which avenue to pursue, our front desk staff can help you make the right choice with your first appointment. We will listen to your health concerns and match you with the best practitioner to address them. Our goal is to assure you no matter who you see at the Center, you will benefit from our team consulting approach in the progress you are making.
Even if you choose to see just one practitioner, you benefit from the skill and knowledge of our entire staff because of our team consulting approach. A good example is our primary care patients who benefit from integrative and complementary therapies while their primary care needs are attended to.
If you'd like to focus on specific areas such as weight loss or stress reduction, we offer special discounted packages with a savings of 20% off regular treatment fees.
Let us help you take charge of your health. Call today to make an appointment 518-689-2244 or learn more about integrative medicine.
